Naples Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractic Care Unlocks The Healing Potential Already Within You.

You were divinely created with an Innate Intelligence that allows you to adapt to life’s forces: stress, environmental toxins, traumatic events, etc. Disease occurs when that natural ability is interrupted.

Every system of the body — circulatory, digestive, eliminatory, hormonal, glandular, immunological, muscular, reproductive, respiratory, and skeletal — depends on the optimal function of the nervous system. As a chiropractor, I reduce stress-related interference to the nervous system via gentle spinal adjustments.

Chiropractic care does not treat specific conditions — instead, it restores normal body function by reactivating your own healing abilities.

True healing comes from within the body rather than from the chiropractor’s adjustment.

A chiropractic adjustment not only makes you feel better but helps you function better for longer. Your body and brain do not want to be out of alignment, and that’s exactly what a specific chiropractic adjustment helps address.

When the spine is out of alignment, this has a negative impact on your body’s internal communication system, the nervous system. The nervous system is the electrical communication system of the entire body. If it is not working optimally, many facets of your health will suffer, such as sleep, digestion, mental health, hormonal regulation, immunity, and of course posture and muscle control.

You were created to thrive, and chiropractic care unlocks the healing potential already within you.

Pediatric Chiropractic Care

The sooner you initiate chiropractic care for your child, the greater the chances of their optimal development and the prevention of common issues. Maintaining the health of the spine and nervous system through routine examinations is akin to regular dental check-ups for ensuring good oral health.

Much like you can have an undetected dental cavity, there could be a subluxation in your body that affects your nervous system without your awareness. Through regular assessments, we can detect and rectify subluxations in their early stages, mitigating symptoms that often result from prolonged neglect, spanning months, years, or even decades in adults.

The Nervous System:

We are nervous system focused chiropractors. The nervous system has two divisions, parasympathetic and sympathetic. Sympathetic is fight or flight, and way too many of us in the modern world are consistently operating from this panicky “mode” of our nervous system. As this happens long-term, our bodies become run down, dysregulated, and in need of a nervous system tune-up. The parasympathetic is rest, digest, and HEAL. The chiropractic adjustment stimulates the nervous system to become “unstuck” from the sympathetic nervous system mode and stimulates the parasympathetic mode so that you can begin healing and resting.

As chiropractors, we don’t just make you feel better, but we also make you HEAL better. As a nervous system chiropractor, it is our job to deliver a nervous system focused adjustment to bring optimal health to your body, restore the brain-to-body connection, and continually encourage and stimulate your body towards wellness and optimal health.

What is subluxation?

A subluxation is a misalignment of a vertebra in the spine that is not just a misalignment but has negative effects on the communication pathways between the brain and the body, blood flow, lymphatic flow, muscle, and joint health. This subluxation must be corrected by a nervous system chiropractor. When the subluxation is corrected by a trained chiropractor, this restores health to the nervous system, which has positive effects on the organs, tissues, and every single cell in your body. Only chiropractors are trained to correct a spinal subluxation. It is not the same thing as spinal manipulation, it is not back cracking, but is highly specific and precise to draw the brain’s attention to a particular area that needs healing and greater communication with the rest of your bodily systems.

What causes subluxation?

Subluxation is caused by the three T’s – thoughts, traumas, and toxins. Our negative and stressful thinking causes neurological stress, which can lead to a tonal weakness in the body, causing subluxations. A serious trauma, like a car accident, can obviously cause a subluxation, but microtraumas, such as posture, sitting, driving, and/or carrying a baby can also cause these subluxations over time and with repetition. Finally, toxins can cause neurological and biochemical interferences and weakness in the body, impacting TONE, which can cause a spinal subluxation. These can all be corrected by a nervous system trained chiropractor.
